Evaniella Bradley, 1905
host(s)
Host associations are known only for one species, E. semaeoda Bradley, 1908, which has been reared from the oothecae of Ischnoptera deropeltiformis in Florida, U.S.A. (Deyrup & Atkinson, 1993).
Comments
This is one of the most diverse genera in the neotropics. Currently it is impossible to determine the total number of described species because many are incorrectly assigned to Evania; rectifying this situation and constructing a key to species will require extensive museum work.
biogeographic range
One species is found in North America (north of Mexico). This genus is very common and quite diverse from Mexico south into Chile and Argentina.
